How to Load Custom Workshop Maps in Counter Strike 2 Server

Step-by-Step

1. Find the workshop map page on the Steam Workshop:

   Search for the custom map you want to play on the Steam Workshop. You can browse or use the search function to find your desired map.

2. Take note of the item ID in the URL:

   When you are on the map's page, look at the URL. The item ID is the number at the end of the URL. For example, in https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3435389750, the item ID is 3435389750.

3. Connect to the server through Remote Console (Rcon):

   Use the Rcon commands to connect to your server. For detailed guidance on this process, please consult our Rcon guide here.

4. Use the command to load the map:

   Once you are connected, use the Rcon command host_workshop_map ID, replacing ID with the workshop ID you found earlier. For example, to play the Fall Guys map, you would type: host_workshop_map 3435389750.

5. Join the game:

   After executing the command, join the game as you normally would. You should be greeted by the exciting custom map!

Troubleshooting:

• If the game is not running when you try to connect to Rcon, the console will not work. Make sure the game server is running before attempting to input commands.
