Step 1: Gather Your Server Information

• Server Name: This is how the server is identified.
• IP Address: A unique address where your server is hosted.
• Port Number: Typically, The Forest uses port 27015.
• Steam Token: Ensure your Steam Token is set correctly, as the server won't be listed or visible in Steam Servers or in-game otherwise.

You can find this information in your PingPlayers account or in the server confirmation email you received.

Step 2: Launch The Forest

1. Open your Steam client.
2. Navigate to your library and find The Forest.

3. Click on the game to start it.

    

Step 3: Access the Multiplayer Menu

1. From the main menu, click on Multiplayer.

2. Choose Join Game.

    

Step 4: Input Your Server Information

1. Select Dedicated (Internet) and enter your server name.
2. You can find the server name in your dashboard inside My The Forest Server → Basic Settings → Server name.
3. Click on Join or Continue.
