How to Create a DXRP Server for Sandbox
Set up a DXRP Sandbox server: generate a token, paste it in Basic Settings, then configure map, ruleset and gamemode from the DXRP web panel.
The spiritual successor to Garry's Mod DarkRP is already available in S&box as DXRP! However, unlike standard game modes, DXRP manages itself entirely through its own official website. There is a specific server branch designed around this game mode because it requires extra network configuration, which we handle for you out of the box. You should see it upon creating your server.

This guide will show you how to generate your token, link your server to the DXRP network, and get your roleplay world running.
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Before starting, ensure you have deployed your server using the specific DXRP branch on your account.
Head over to
https://dxrp.net/and sign in using your Steam account.Navigate to the Servers tab and click on the Add option to create a new server profile.

Enter a name for your server. Once the name is set, click on Create.

After the server is created, click on the pencil icon in the right corner and select Edit.

Use this menu to select your desired Map, Ruleset, and Gamemode.

Navigate to the Actions section and click the Regenerate Token button to generate a server token. Click the token once to copy it to your clipboard (or click it multiple times, we do not judge).

Log in to your server panel and navigate to Basic Settings.

Find the DXRP Token field and paste your copied token inside. Click Update Server to save your changes.

Go back to the DXRP website panel and click Restart under the Actions menu to apply the configuration.

Don't forget to restart your actual server as well by going back to your server panel, then go to Actions > Restart.

Troubleshooting & Tips
Keep these important details in mind while managing your new roleplay server:
The Restart Quirk: Every time you click "Restart" on the DXRP website, it sends a stop command to your actual server. Always remember to go back to your Server Panel and manually Start the server so it goes back to a "Running" state.
Web-Based Configuration: Almost all of your core server configuration is handled directly through the DXRP website. Whenever you need to make changes, simply log into the site and click the Edit button on your active server.
Missing Token: If your server is failing to boot the DXRP game mode, double-check that your token was pasted entirely and correctly into Basic Settings without any accidental blank spaces.
Conclusion
Setting up DXRP is incredibly streamlined thanks to their web-based management system. Once your token is securely linked to your server, you have full control over your map, rulesets, and gamemodes right from your browser, making it easier than ever to build your roleplay community!
