How to Join Your Barotrauma Server
Welcome to the unforgiving depths of Europa! Getting your crew together on your Barotrauma server is quick and easy. Players have two options to connect: they can either search for your server's name in the public list or connect directly using your server's IP address and port.
This guide will walk you through both methods.
Method 1: Using the Server Browser
If your server is public and easily searchable, this is the most common way to join.
Launch Barotrauma.
From the main menu, navigate to Multiplayer → Server Browser.

Use the search bar to look up your specific Server Name.

Once your server appears in the list, click on it and select Join.

Method 2: Using Direct Connect
If your server isn't showing up in the browser, or if you prefer a faster, direct route, you can connect using your server's IP and Port (which can be found on your Server Panel dashboard).
Launch Barotrauma.
Navigate to Multiplayer → Server Browser.

Look for and click the Direct Join button.

Insert the IP and Port of your server, which can be found on your Server Panel.


Click Join to connect to the submarine.

If a server password is set, it'll be prompted after Joining.
