How to Connect to Your Cubic Odyssey Server

Congratulations on setting up your Cubic Odyssey server! Whether you're seasoned in gaming or just starting, this guide will help you join your server easily. You know the name of your server as you specified it during setup, and there are two main ways to connect:

Option 1: Using the Server Browser

You can find and join your server through the server browser. Here's how:

1. Open the Cubic Odyssey game on your device.

2. Click on the "Join Game" option on the main menu.

   

    

3. Select "Dedicated Servers".

   

    

4. Scroll through the list to find your server name. 

   (If you can’t find it, click the "Refresh" button)
    

5. Once you locate your server, click on it to join. If there is a password set for the server, you'll be prompted to enter it.

   

    

6. You'll be asked to create a character.

Option 2: Using the Lobby Key

You can also connect using the Lobby Key, which is displayed in the server logs. Follow these steps:

1. Check your server logs for the Lobby Key and copy or write it down for later use.

   

    

2. Open the game and click on "Join Game".

   

    

3. Select "Dedicated Servers", then click "Join Private".

4. Insert the Lobby Key you copied from the logs, and enter the server password if one is set.

Troubleshooting

• Ensure that your server is set to public if you want to join through the server list. Find this option under the server's "Basic Settings" panel.
• If you renamed your server, remember that changes only take effect after a restart, so make sure you restart your server.

• After many restarts, log may write to an older one. If you're trying to find your Lobby Key, just use an older log entry if there are no contents in the latest one or wait for the game to fill it in.
