Important Note!

  1. Shut down your server. Always ensure the server is off before making changes.
  2. Connect to FTP. For help connecting to FTP, please refer to our detailed guide here.
  3. Locate your local Abiotic Factor save folder: Go to C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\AbioticFactor\Saved\SaveGames\STEAMID\Worlds. You can access this quickly by typing %AppData% into the Windows Run function. Remember, the AppData folder is hidden by default!
It may open AppData\Roaming but you can just go back one directory.
  1. Upload your world save folder: Locate the save folder on your server at /Server/AbioticFactor/Saved/SaveGames/Server/Worlds and prepare to upload your local world save folder.
  1. Upload your save folder: Upload your world save folder from your PC to the server using an FTP client like FileZilla or even through Windows Explorer.
  1. Change World Name: Go to the Basic Settings on the PingPlayers website, set the World Name to match the name of the uploaded folder, and save the changes.
  1. Restart the server: Finally, restart your server to load the uploaded save.
