How to Connect to Your Astroneer Server

Welcome to your new Astroneer server! Connecting to your server is easy, and this guide will walk you through the steps you need to follow. Whether you are an experienced player or a beginner, you will find these instructions simple to follow. Don't forget to grab your server IP and port as that's the only thing you'll need (unless you set a password, then that too!)

Step-by-Step Guide

1) Access the Server List In-Game

In Astroneer, start the game and locate the server list. You can find it in the top-right tab of the main menu.

2) Click Add Dedicated Server

Once you are on the server list screen, look for the option to add a dedicated server and click on it.

3) Insert Your Server's IP and Port

Now, you need to enter the IP address and port number of your server that you received when you set it up. Type these details into the designated fields.

4) Enter a Nickname for the Server

It's time to give your server a nickname. This nickname helps you recognize it easily in your server list. Don't worry; it doesn't affect anything else related to the server.

5) Click Add Server

After you have filled in your server's information, click the 'Add Server' button to save it to your list of favorite servers.

6) Select Your Server and Join

Find your newly added server in the list. Click on it, and then click the 'Join Server' button to enter the game. If your server has a password, you can enter it below the server name.
