CrossArk allows players to transfer their characters, items, and creatures between different servers within the same "cluster." This means you can seamlessly travel and interact with players on other servers you own, enhancing the game's experience! In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to set up CrossArk on your servers.
Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up CrossArk
Step 1: Order Multiple Servers
First and foremost, you'll need to order multiple (at least 2) Ark: Survival Evolved servers. Ensure that these servers are in the same cluster of players. The maximum players in the cluster should accommodate both game servers. For example, if your server has a limit of 30 players each, the cluster max players should be at least 60.
Step 2: Disable Prevent Download Items/Dinos/Tribute
Next, check the configuration of your servers. Disable all “Prevent Download Items/Dinos/Tribute” variables on each server if you have previously altered them. They're all set to False by default, so they should be disabled unless you've modified them in the past.

Step 3: Set the Same Cluster ID
Now, it's time to set every server in the cluster with the exact same Cluster ID in the Basic Settings. This ID links your servers together.

Step 4: Restart All Servers
After everything is configured, restart all your servers to apply the changes.

Step 5: Transfer Items and Characters
Finally, it's time to transfer your belongings! Go to an obelisk while connected to any of the servers in your cluster. From there, you can transfer items to another server or switch servers with your character.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Servers in Different Clusters: Ensure that all your servers are correctly set to the same cluster ID.
- Downloads Disabled: Confirm that the download settings for items, creatures, or tributes are not preventing transfers.
- Wrong Cluster ID: Double-check that you've entered the same cluster ID for all servers.
