Managing players on your Nightingale server is essential for creating a fun and fair gaming environment. If you encounter disruptive players, you can kick or ban them using the Social menu, but remember, you need admin privileges to perform these actions.

Steps to Kick or Ban Players

1. Become an admin; here is the guide to do so.

   

2. Press key O to open the Social Screen menu or press ESC and select Social.

   

3. To kick a player, select the desired player and click Remove on their card.

   

4. To ban a player, click Ban instead of Remove under the same player's card.

   

Troubleshooting

• I banned someone by mistake! If you want to unban someone, you'll need to access the ServerState.ini file inside Server/NWX/Saved/Config/WindowsServer and remove their name from the "Bans=" line. Be careful to only delete the text from the start of ProviderID= to the end of Timestamp= within the parentheses.
• I can’t kick anyone. Are you logged in as an admin? Only admins have access to kicking and banning.
• I can’t kick a specific player. Make sure they're not an admin as well; you won't be able to kick other admins until they're logged out of their admin mode.
