Maximum tick rate. Every ability registers the instant you press the key.
The lobby never drops. Your roster can run a block any night, any hour.
A server that posts these numbers plays nothing like one that does not. Here is the difference the moment five heroes collapse on mid in Deadlock.

Reliable hosting depends on tick rate, low latency, clean lobby resets, and proper server control.

A dedicated server stays online independently from any player.
Trusted by thousands of Deadlock players worldwide.
Deadlock is a 6v6 third-person hero shooter built on Source 2 by Valve, set in an occult, 1920s-flavoured version of New York. It fuses MOBA lane structure with over-the-shoulder gunplay, and it is still in early development, with access limited to playtest invites.
Four lanes run from your base to theirs. Troopers march down each one, and shooting them drops Souls that you either secure or deny before the other team gets there. Souls buy items across the Weapon, Vitality and Spirit trees, which is how a hero goes from trading pistol shots at ten minutes to deleting a lane at thirty. Guardians, Walkers and Shrines fall in order until the Patron itself is exposed, while the ziplines overhead let a rotation land on the far side of the map before the enemy reads it.
A match runs long. Laning, jungle stacking, the Mid Boss fight and the Rejuvenator that follows it all sit inside one continuous session where a single teamfight can undo forty minutes of work. That is why rosters who take Deadlock seriously practise in private lobbies instead of open queue, and it is why a dedicated server matters: the lobby is there when your six are, it holds tick rate through a full collapse at mid, and nobody has to keep a machine awake to host it.
