About Stationeers
Stationeers comes from RocketWerkz, its developer and publisher: a game about building and running a space station, by yourself or online with others. It entered Early Access on Steam on 12 December 2017 and is still there today, with the Power Line Update landing in August 2026.
You start with little more than a lander and its supplies on the Moon, Mars, Europa, Mimas, Vulcan or Venus. From there you mine ore, then smelt it into ingots for the fabricators. The atmospherics system tracks the pressure and gas mix in every room, so pipes and seals matter. Farms grow your food, and a logic system lets you automate the base, down to IC10 chips you program yourself.
RocketWerkz itself added dedicated servers so groups can play without hosting directly from a game. On a Stationeers dedicated server, the station no longer depends on one home PC, and it saves when the last person leaves.

RocketWerkz offers Creative, Easy, Normal and Stationeer difficulty, and you choose one when a new station starts. Tell support which one you want, and they set it up.
It is a start condition from RocketWerkz that gives each newcomer their own lander with a full set of supplies, so whoever joins later still has kit to work with. Support can set it up when your new station starts.
The Stationeers dedicated server has admin commands, including announce, which pops up a message for everyone connected. Ask support how to run them on your server.
RocketWerkz offers Workshop modding for many parts of the game, but it publishes no guide for mods on a dedicated server. Message support before you add any.
Yes. Stop the server, upload the save with File Manager or SFTP, then start it again. RocketWerkz says saves from before its September 2025 update no longer load.
