Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game developed by Funcom and set in the brutal lands of Conan the Barbarian. Released into Early Access in 2017 and reaching full release in May 2018, it casts players as exiles stripped of weapons and left for dead in a savage wasteland. From nothing, you must survive, build, and dominate.
The core loop revolves around three pillars: survive the harsh environment, build a base from sandstone all the way to hardened steel, and enslave NPCs as thralls using the Wheel of Pain. Thralls become crafters, fighters, or archers, each one captured and broken into service at your forge or on your walls. The world pushes back with The Purge, a periodic onslaught of enemies that scales in intensity the longer your settlement grows.
Conan Exiles servers come in three modes: PvP for full raids and base destruction, PvE-Conflict for player combat without base raiding, and PvE for cooperative clan building. On a dedicated server, your world runs 24/7, your thrall army persists, your purge schedule holds, and your clan can log in whenever without relying on anyone keeping their PC running.
